Entry Level Vehicle Technician (Up to 2.5k, Multiple Locations, Permanent Role)
Job Description:
As an Entry Level Vehicle Technician, you will perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, repair any issues or defects, and maintain a logbook of all duties completed. You will also assist with engine and parts overhauls, as well as checking parts and vehicles for operational quality. You will work in a government sector with a 5-day office timing workweek and benefit from a work-life balance, leave and medical benefits, and 1 month AWS! Salary is negotiable, starting at $1.7k onward.
Essential Skills:
Mechanical Skills: You should have a strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, including engine systems, transmission, brakes, and suspension. You should also be able to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Attention to Detail: As a vehicle technician, you must be highly detail-oriented to identify issues and repair them accurately. You should pay close attention to small details when inspecting vehicles and diagnosing problems.
Problem-Solving: You should have good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and identify the root cause of problems. You should also be comfortable making decisions based on incomplete information.
Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills to explain technical information and repairs to supervisors and customers clearly. You should be comfortable communicating in writing and verbally.
