Title: Occupational Therapist Job Opening - Islandwide Location: Nationwide Coverage Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and providing personalized treatment plans to patients who experience physical, cognitive, psychological, and/or behavioral challenges. Your primary aim is to maximize their functional abilities through purposeful activities and various therapeutic techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to ascertain patient needs and capabilities.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving patients' abilities in work, self-care, and leisure activities.
- Use a diverse range of interventions and therapeutic techniques to enhance patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment strategies and goals to increase functional independence.
- Keep up-to-date with evidence-based interventions and best practices in occupational therapy.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and engage in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, obtained from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in Pediatrics, Neuro Rehabilitation, and Acute Inpatient settings (preferred).
- Solid assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team setting.
