Temporary Cashier Position in Aljunied and Valley Point
Job Highlights: Earn up to $21 per hour on Public Holidays, competitive hourly rate, and opportunities for overtime pay. We are seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to fill a temporary cashier position in Aljunied and Valley Point. As a cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash and card transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and efficient cashiering services to customers
- Handle cash and card transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service Work Environment:
- Competitive hourly rate of $10.50 per hour
- Double pay on Public Holidays (up to $21 per hour)
- Opportunities for overtime pay (up to $15.75 per hour)
- Gain valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment Location:
- Aljunied: 1 June - 30 June
- Valley Point: 10 June - 9 September Pay Rate:
- $10.50 per hour (basic rate)
- $21 per hour (Public Holidays)
- $15.75 per hour (overtime) Schedule:
- Monday to Sunday, 6 days a week
- Shifts: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm Specific Requirements:
- Able to commit fully to the temporary position
- Okay to work weekends and shifts ( rostered shifts)
- Comfortable with job scope and responsibilities Essential Skills:
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and card transactions
Excellent communication skills to provide high-quality customer service
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
Basic math skills to handle cash and card transactions Complementary Skills:- Previous experience in a retail environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
