Role and Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer for a 1-year contract, you will be responsible for developing detailed designs for test jigs, frames, and structures. Using your skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software and finite element analysis (FEA), you will simulate and analyze designs to ensure their compliance with safety codes, standards, and regulations. You will also conduct site surveys and investigations to assess conditions, collaborate with engineers and clients to understand requirements, and recommend appropriate construction techniques and materials. Your primary duties will include:
- Calculating loads, stresses, and forces that structures will encounter.
- Performing load-bearing and stability analysis to ensure structural integrity.
- Working closely with clients and colleagues to coordinate projects.
- Providing guidance and ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate potential risks.
- Minimum Degree in civil engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software and FEA.
- Strong understanding of safety codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
